Wait, but what is Ube? Glad you asked, as a few years ago, I would have asked the same thing. Ube is also known as a purple yam and is native to the Philippines. The taste of it is sweet, but it is an excellent addition to your morning coffee. While most coffee shops don’t have ube syrup or ube extract to make this drink, if you are lucky enough to stumble upon one that does, I recommend you give it a try, just once. You can always try to make it at home!
